Laura Shanon

VP of Technology

Laura is responsible for technology and product development where she leads the development of the NXTThing Hiring Manager Portal and its integration with multiple applicant tracking systems. She has over 22 years of experience in recruitment marketing and technology, with a specific emphasis on web development, strategy, product development, media planning, analytics, and big data.

Prior to NXTThing RPO, Laura worked at Bernard Hodes Group where she grew the Digital Media & Analytics team from a single team member to a national department managing all agency digital media strategy, buying, implementation, and analytics. She also lead Analytics & Monetization for Startdate Labs leading product improvements that increased total revenue by 38% and EBITDA by 98% YoY.

Laura graduated from St. Lawrence University with a BS in Psychology. In her free time, she volunteers extensively, runs, skis, hikes, and especially enjoys horseback riding.
